Senior Planning Engineer

A leading construction company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join its project team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with extensive UAE construction experience, particularly in new building projects, who have strong expertise in planning, scheduling, and project controls.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and monitoring project schedules, coordinating with project teams, preparing progress reports, and supporting cost control activities. Candidates with experience in delay analysis, EOT claims, and ALDAR-approved projects will have an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.

• Monitor project progress and prepare regular planning and performance reports.

• Coordinate with project teams to ensure activities are completed according to schedule.

• Support project planning, resource allocation, and cost control activities.

• Perform delay analysis and prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims.

• Identify scheduling risks and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

• Minimum 8+ years of UAE experience.

• Mandatory experience in new construction building projects.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.

• Experience in progress monitoring, reporting, and project coordination.

• Experience in Delay Analysis and EOT Claims.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Immediate joiners will be preferred.

• ALDAR Approval is an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Project planning and scheduling.

• Resource allocation and cost control.

• Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and project reporting.
