Stantec is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join its team in Dubai. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive planning experience and a strong background in delivering water infrastructure projects across the GCC region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in line with organizational objectives. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to major infrastructure developments within a globally recognized engineering consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain project schedules for water infrastructure projects.
• Monitor project progress and provide planning and scheduling support.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Analyze project performance and prepare planning reports.
• Identify potential project delays and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure planning activities comply with project requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar planning role.
• Proven experience delivering water infrastructure projects within the GCC.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project schedules and deadlines.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Project planning and scheduling techniques.
• Water infrastructure project delivery.
• Engineering planning software and project management practices.
