Role Overview
As Senior Accountant, you will run the company’s day-to-day accounting activities, bringing retail operations, transaction records, and financial reporting together in a reliable and orderly process. Your work will help maintain sound financial controls and give the business timely, accurate information for its Dubai operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounting cycle and manage routine finance operations independently.
- Prepare financial statements and deliver reports within required timelines.
- Reconcile bank accounts and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Maintain accounting records for inventory and related retail transactions.
- Coordinate month-end closing, including reviewing balances and completing reconciliations.
- Keep financial records accurate and apply the company’s accounting procedures consistently.
- Use Odoo ERP to support accounting workflows, recordkeeping, and financial reporting.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Three to four years of experience across the complete accounting function.
- Practical experience in retail accounting is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage accounting operations independently.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is required.
- Working knowledge of financial reporting, bank reconciliation, payables, receivables, inventory accounting, and month-end close.
- Ability to prepare financial statements and maintain accurate, up-to-date accounting records.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
