Description:
GEMS FirstPoint School in Dubai is currently inviting applications for the position of SEN Teacher for an August 2026 start. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing British curriculum school that places a strong emphasis on inclusion and student success.
The school is looking for dedicated and reflective educators who are passionate about supporting Students of Determination and committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking Inclusion Team, helping to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students with special educational needs
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support student progress
• Monitor and assess student performance, ensuring consistent progress and achievement
• Work closely with teaching staff, support teams, and parents to provide holistic support
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and confidence
• Contribute to the development and implementation of inclusive teaching strategies
• Participate actively in the school’s Inclusion Team initiatives and programs
Requirements:
• Passion for working with Students of Determination and supporting inclusive education
• Strong understanding of SEN teaching practices and strategies
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Commitment to maintaining high educational standards and student outcomes
