Description:
ICB Tax is looking for motivated and detail-oriented Semi-Qualified Auditors to join its team in Dubai. This on-site opportunity is ideal for candidates with a solid background in audit and assurance who are eager to further develop their careers in a professional and collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have practical exposure to both public practice and industry settings, along with a strong understanding of financial reporting standards and audit procedures. Individuals with excellent analytical abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in planning and performing audit and assurance engagements.
• Review financial records and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers and audit files.
• Ensure financial statements comply with applicable accounting standards.
• Identify audit findings and communicate observations to senior team members.
• Support the completion of audit assignments within established deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to obtain required financial information.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards of audit quality and compliance.
Requirements:
• Experience in audit and assurance activities.
• Exposure to both professional practice and industry environments.
• Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience preparing and maintaining audit files and working papers.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Semi-Qualified CA/ACCA/CPA or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Audit and assurance procedures.
• International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Audit documentation, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
