Bin Hilal Food is looking for a detail-oriented Restaurant Auditor to join its team in Khorfakkan, Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting operational and financial audits across restaurant operations while ensuring compliance with company policies, internal controls, and established procedures.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in restaurant auditing, hospitality, or finance who possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for identifying discrepancies, improving operational efficiency, and supporting business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct regular audits of restaurant operations, sales, inventory, and financial transactions.
• Verify cash handling procedures, sales records, discounts, voids, refunds, and complimentary items.
• Review inventory records and investigate stock discrepancies.
• Monitor wastage, stock losses, and operational irregularities.
• Examine purchase orders, invoices, receiving documents, and stock transfers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
• Identify financial and operational risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
• Follow up on audit observations and corrective action plans.
• Maintain accurate audit records and supporting documentation.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in restaurant auditing, internal audit, finance, or hospitality operations.
• Previous restaurant auditing or hospitality experience is preferred.
• Good understanding of restaurant operations and financial controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and POS/accounting systems.
• Strong communication, reporting, and organizational skills.
• UAE restaurant or hospitality experience will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
