Job Description

Role Overview

As Sales Team Lead at Ngao Credit Ltd., you will take ownership of a team of sales agents, driving both individual and collective performance toward ambitious loan growth targets. Day to day, you will balance coaching and development with hands-on portfolio management, reviewing loan applications, ensuring collections stay on track, and identifying fresh opportunities to expand the company's market presence. Your leadership directly impacts the company's revenue and the quality of its lending book, making this a pivotal role for a results-driven professional ready to step into management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and direct a team of sales agents to consistently exceed monthly sales and loan disbursement goals.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality loan portfolio by actively monitoring performance, repayment behaviour, and collections health.
  • Recruit, onboard, and coach new sales agents, ensuring they have the skills and product knowledge to succeed.
  • Review loan applications thoroughly, verifying accuracy, compliance with lending policies, and alignment with risk standards.
  • Track individual and team KPIs, providing regular feedback and implementing corrective actions when targets slip.
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities, generating leads through networking, referrals, and local partnerships.
  • Work closely with credit and collections functions to resolve delinquent accounts and minimise portfolio risk.
  • Prepare sales reports and performance analyses using Microsoft Office tools to support management decision-making.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience leading or supervising a sales team, ideally within financial services.
  • Proven track record in selling financial products, such as loans, credit facilities, or insurance.
  • Strong leadership and coaching ability, with the confidence to inspire and hold a team accountable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
