Position Context
We are seeking an ambitious, target-anchored Sales Supervisor to lead, mentor, and drive the field revenue operations of our property sales team. Your primary focus will be to orchestrate day-to-day property sales activities, turning prospects into closed transactions across our residential, commercial, and mixed-use portfolios. This role bridges direct team leadership with high-level B2B and B2C relationship building. You will conduct client site visits, supervise pipeline movements inside CRM systems, and coach sales executives on advanced closing and negotiation tactics. We need a charismatic, market-savvy leader with solid experience in property sales, a deep understanding of real estate regulations, and a proven record of exceeding revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Team Mentorship
- Supervise daily operations of the real estate sales team, establishing clear prospecting quotas and call expectations.
- Track individual and team performance metrics against assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide hands-on coaching, field training, and deal-structuring support to help sales executives convert complex leads.
- Conduct weekly strategy meetings and individual performance reviews to address pipeline bottlenecks and maintain team morale.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to design and deploy competitive sales campaigns aligned with property release dates.
Business Development & Client Cultivation
- Lead strategic lead-generation initiatives to attract high-net-worth investors, corporate buyers, and institutional clients.
- Lead high-stakes client meetings, delivering compelling property pitches and guiding buyers through site tours.
- Oversee the end-to-end client journey, including property valuation, payment plans, and legal transfer procedures.
- Manage client feedback and resolve service escalations promptly to maintain high retention and referral rates.
Pipeline Management & Operational Reporting
- Maintain real-time database accuracy within corporate CRM tools, tracking lead velocity, conversion rates, and deal stages.
- Prepare weekly sales forecasts, target variance reports, and market activity summaries for the Head of Sales.
- Coordinate with marketing units to align promotional campaigns, digital ads, and open-house events with available inventory.
- Audit sales documentation, offer letters, and reservation agreements to ensure compliance and timely submission.
Compliance & Market Intelligence
- Enforce adherence to internal sales protocols, real estate regulations, and ethical selling standards.
- Conduct competitor analysis, monitoring property pricing, payment structures, and new developments in Nairobi.
- Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for product positioning and pricing strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Entry Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate, Insurance, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of progressive, verified experience in real estate sales, including 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role.
- Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of the Kenyan real estate ecosystem, land transactions, title verification, and property marketing.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency with CRM systems, database tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Driving License: Valid, clean Kenyan driving license is a distinct advantage for site visits.
