Job Description

Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support our Sales team in converting cold leads into warm leads, thereby increasing the number of food partners on our platform.
  • Achieve agreed KPIs and targets by proactively selling product offerings, always aiming to meet customer needs and exceed expectations. Attain a minimum number of customer audits per week to ensure an effectively managed customer base.
  • Ensure all sales administration and coordination is accomplished effectively and accurately to provide a seamless handover to the operations team.
  • Manage both new and existing customer requirements to understand, anticipate, and practically meet their needs, while spotting potential sales opportunities.
  • Self-generate sales leads through networking, referrals, and warm/cold calling.
  • Set up appointments and visit potential customers for new business.
  • Through training and learning, provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education to customers.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve better results.
  • Take personal ownership for delivering agreed SMART objectives set within the department.
  • Proactively identify and assist the Sales and Marketing Manager and other senior managers to obtain real, sustained, continuous improvement throughout the business, and execute it in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate high levels of integrity and honesty at all times, establishing a culture of personal and organizational trust.
  • Have the ability to work flexible hours around the needs of both customers and the company.
  • Undertake any other duties as requested by the Sales and Marketing Manager in accordance with the scope and responsibilities of the role.
  • Drive both existing and new business, working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and realistic expectations from the outset.
  • Manage contract negotiations aimed at establishing a strong working relationship with partners, including sustainable economics for both parties.
  • Act as an ambassador, spreading and enacting the company’s culture:

Academic Qualifications

  • Degree level in a business or social sciences related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in English (excellent verbal and written communication skills).
  • Computer literacy: knowledge and confidence in MS Office.

Experience

  • At least 1–2 years of sales or marketing experience in a B2B environment.
  • Sales and marketing best practice / knowledge of current tools (e.g., CRM tools).
