About the Company
Our client is an on-demand courier service that delivers products ordered through their mobile app. They are seeking a motivated Sales Intern to support the Food Partners team in expanding their network of food partners across the cities and neighborhoods in which they operate.
Role Summary
The Sales Intern will support the sales team by converting cold leads into warm leads, helping increase the number of food partners on the platform. This role is ideal for a proactive, energetic individual looking to build a career in B2B sales within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales team in converting cold leads to warm leads to grow the number of food partners on the platform.
- Achieve agreed KPIs and targets by proactively selling product offerings, meeting customer needs, and exceeding customer expectations.
- Conduct a minimum number of customer audits per week as per your KPI to ensure an effectively managed customer base.
- Ensure all sales administration and coordination is completed accurately to provide a seamless handover to the operations team.
- Manage both new and existing customer requirements to understand, anticipate, and meet their needs while identifying potential sales opportunities.
- Self-generate sales leads through networking, referrals, and warm/cold calling.
- Set up appointments and visit potential customers for new business.
- Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education to customers through training and learning.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve better results.
- Take personal ownership for the delivery of agreed SMART objectives.
- Proactively identify and assist the Sales and Marketing Manager and senior managers in achieving continuous improvement across the business.
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity and honesty, establishing a culture of personal and organizational trust.
- Work flexible hours to meet the needs of both customers and the company.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by the Sales and Marketing Manager within the scope of the role.
- Drive both existing and new business, working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Manage contract negotiations to establish strong working relationships with partners, ensuring sustainable economics for both parties.
- Act as an ambassador for the company, spreading and enacting the company culture.

Academic Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Social Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in English – excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literacy – knowledge and confidence in MS Office.
Experience
- At least 1–2 years of sales or marketing experience in a B2B environment.
- Knowledge of sales and marketing best practices, including current tools (e.g., CRM tools).
