About Our Client
Our client is an on-demand courier service that delivers products ordered through their mobile app. They are seeking a motivated Sales Intern to support the growth of their food partner network.
Role Summary
The Sales Intern will support the Sales team by cold-calling leads across all towns, cities, and neighborhoods where the company operates. Your primary goal will be to convert cold leads into warm leads, thereby increasing the number of food partners on our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Sales team in converting cold leads to warm leads, helping to increase the number of food partners on our platform.
- Achieve agreed KPIs and targets by proactively selling product offerings, always aiming to meet customer needs and exceed expectations. Attain a minimum number of customer audits per week as per your KPI to ensure an effectively managed customer base.
- Ensure all sales administration and coordination is accomplished accurately and effectively to provide a seamless handover to the Operations team.
- Manage both new and existing customer requirements to understand, anticipate, and meet their needs, while spotting potential sales opportunities.
- Self-generate sales leads through networking, referrals, and warm/cold calling.
- Set up appointments and visit potential customers for new business.
- Provide pre-sales technical expertise and product education to customers through training and learning.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve better results.
- Take personal ownership for the delivery of agreed SMART objectives set within the department.
- Proactively identify and assist the Sales and Marketing Manager and other senior managers to obtain real and sustained, continuous improvement throughout the business, and execute improvements in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate high levels of integrity and honesty at all times, establishing a culture of both personal and organizational trust.
- Work flexible hours around the needs of both customers and the company.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by the Sales and Marketing Manager in line with the scope and responsibilities of the role.
- Drive both existing and new business, working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless experience for customers and set realistic expectations from the outset.
- Manage contract negotiations aimed at establishing a strong working relationship with partners, including sustainable economics for both parties.
- Act as an ambassador for the company and its culture.

Qualifications
Academic
- Degree level in a business or social sciences related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in English (excellent verbal and written communication skills).
- Computer literacy: knowledge and confidence in MS Office.
Experience
- At least 1–2 years of sales or marketing experience in a B2B environment.
- Familiarity with sales and marketing best practices and current tools (e.g., CRM tools).
