Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Executive role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, effectively communicating product offerings, and identifying opportunities to expand the customer base. Day-to-day tasks include managing sales transactions, addressing customer inquiries, meeting sales targets, and contributing to the store’s overall success by providing personalized service and guidance to customers. Additionally, the role will involve executing promotional activities and supporting inventory management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Sales and customer relationship management skills with the ability to effectively engage with customers and drive sales growth
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening and a professional demeanor
- Product knowledge and a passion for wine, beer, and spirits, or a willingness to learn
- Organizational skills and attention to detail for managing inventory and processing transactions
- Teamwork skills with a collaborative mindset to contribute to a positive work environment
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Proven track record in sales or customer service roles is an advantage
- Flexibility to work in a retail environment, including weekends and public holidays
