About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Automotive Parts Sales Representative to drive sales growth within our territory. In this field-based position, you will leverage deep automotive expertise, build strong relationships with customers, and achieve aggressive revenue targets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can execute on the ground and collaborate with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a regional sales plan to meet or exceed parts sales goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling automotive parts.
- Conduct field visits to existing and potential customers, providing product knowledge and support.
- Utilize ERP and EPC systems to manage orders, inventory, and customer data effectively.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals while maintaining profitability.
- Resolve customer complaints and conflicts with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain) to align sales strategies and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive parts, applications, and compatibility.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Automotive, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive Parts Sales, with at least 2 years in regional or field sales.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, applications, and compatibility.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPC).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to upsell, cross-sell, and close deals effectively through negotiation and persuasion.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and a person of integrity.
