Job Description

Role Overview

This front‑office role is the face of the resort, ensuring every guest interaction – from arrival to departure – sets the tone for a memorable stay. Day to day, you will manage check‑ins, reservations, and inquiries while coordinating with housekeeping, food and beverage, and spa teams to deliver seamless service. Your ability to stay composed under pressure and solve issues on the spot directly supports the resort’s reputation for exceptional hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and throughout their stay with a genuine, professional demeanour that reflects the resort’s service standards.
  • Process check‑ins and check‑outs, update reservation systems, and handle billing or payment transactions accurately.
  • Promptly address guest requests, complaints, or feedback – escalating complex matters to management when needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications, providing clear information about resort amenities, promotions, and local attractions.
  • Liaise regularly with housekeeping, restaurant, spa, and maintenance teams to coordinate room readiness, special requests, and guest preferences.
  • Maintain precise guest records, billing details, and daily front‑office reports while safeguarding confidentiality.
  • Keep the reception and lobby area tidy, organised, and welcoming at all times, anticipating guest needs before they arise.
  • Multitask efficiently in a fast‑paced setting without sacrificing accuracy, warmth, or professionalism.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of hands‑on experience in the hospitality industry (hotel, resort, or spa experience strongly preferred).
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and courteously with guests and colleagues, both in person and over the phone or email.
  • Strong organisational skills and comfort juggling multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance, confidence, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service in a busy resort environment.
