Job Description

About the role

  • Burn is dfor a highly analytical and detail-oriented R&D Lab Analyst Intern to support product testing, data analysis, and laboratory operations within the Research & Development team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct lab tests on current BURN products, products in the R&D pipeline, competitors’ products, and new cookstove fuel performance, documenting and analyzing the results.
  • Assist in field data collection and product monitoring activities.
  • Manage datasets of test results.
  • Assist in maintaining and refining testing methodologies, safety protocols, procedures, etc.
  • Ensure that all safety guidelines and 5S are always followed strictly and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
  • Maintain lab equipment and assist in keeping inventories of laboratory supplies.
  • Assist in preparation of stove demos.
  • Other activities as needed.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a physical science field.
  • Experience working in a lab testing environment.
  • Experience in managing data and interacting with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, punctual, and professional.
  • Proactive attitude and takes initiative in problem-solving.
