Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer with at least 5 years of proven experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) quantity surveying. The successful candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, quantity take-offs, contract administration, valuation of works, variation management, and cost control throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for MEP works.
• Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for MEP services.
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports.
• Evaluate and process variations, claims, and change orders.
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
• Verify contractor and subcontractor payment applications.
• Assist in procurement and contract administration activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with project budgets and contractual requirements.
• Maintain records of project costs, variations, and financial reports.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor or MEP QS Engineer.
• Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• GCC/UAE experience is preferred (if applicable).

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in quantity take-offs and cost estimation.
• Familiarity with FIDIC and standard forms of contracts.
• Experience with BOQ preparation and contract management.
