Role Overview
As an Aftersales Project Manager in industrial manufacturing and packaging technology, you will oversee customer projects such as equipment audits, overhauls and maintenance agreements from planning through completion. You will connect customer needs with internal technical teams, keeping work on schedule and commercially sound while supporting lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage key customer accounts and maintain productive, long-term relationships.
- Plan and deliver aftersales work, including audits, overhauls, maintenance contracts and other customer interventions.
- Clarify customer requirements and coordinate internal personnel, technical work and project schedules.
- Track quotations, orders, receivables and agreed project outputs, following up to resolve delays or outstanding actions.
- Advise customers on technical matters and identify suitable aftersales solutions.
- Monitor project budgets, margins, milestones and customer feedback, and report on overall performance.
- Identify and address project risks or operational issues to support efficient delivery.
Requirements & Qualifications
- University degree or Higher National Diploma in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
- At least five years of project management experience; experience in a related industry is preferred.
- Sound understanding of project management practices and experience managing complex projects.
- Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with effective communication, negotiation and customer-management skills.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the country and internationally; a valid passport and driver's licence are required.
