Production Supervisor

Job Title: Plastic Molding Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Plastic Molding Supervisor to lead our production floor, ensuring efficient manufacturing operations while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards. This role is critical to achieving production targets and minimizing waste in a fast-paced plastic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, train, and manage machine operators and production workers on the molding floor.
• Coordinate daily manufacturing runs across extrusion, injection, or blow molding lines to meet strict delivery schedules.
• Monitor machine cycle times and raw materials to maximize efficiency and minimize plastic scrap/waste.
• Conduct regular audits on finished products to ensure zero-defect standards while enforcing workplace safety regulations.
• Identify and resolve molding defects (such as flashing and warping) and machine downtime in coordination with the maintenance team.
• Maintain accurate daily production logs, raw material usage records, and yield reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Polymer/Plastics Engineering (or an equivalent technical field).
• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience specifically within a plastic manufacturing environment (injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding).
• Strong understanding of plastic materials, mold setups, machine calibration, and processing parameters.
• Excellent leadership, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with a proactive approach to solving production floor issues.
