Description:

A company in Dubai is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to support its purchasing and supply chain operations. This role is ideal for an organized professional who can effectively coordinate procurement activities, maintain supplier relationships, and ensure the timely acquisition of materials and services.

The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers and internal departments to support day-to-day procurement functions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the efficient management of purchasing processes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth within a professional and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in identifying and sourcing suitable suppliers

• Obtain quotations and compare supplier offers

• Prepare purchase orders and ensure their timely processing

• Follow up with suppliers regarding deliveries and order status

• Maintain procurement records, contracts, and supporting documentation

• Coordinate with internal departments regarding purchasing requirements

• Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment activities

• Ensure materials and services are procured within required timelines

• Assist in maintaining strong supplier relationships

• Support procurement and administrative functions as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Good organizational and administrative abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Previous procurement or administrative experience is an advantage

• Fluent English communication skills

• Additional language skills are considered an advantage

• Strong knowledge of:

• Procurement Processes

• Supplier Coordination and Management

• Purchase Order Processing

• Inventory Monitoring

• Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Procurement Documentation and Record Keeping
