Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical, bilingual Pre-Sales Executive to anchor our technical bid architecture and support our expanding enterprise sales pipelines across English and French-speaking markets. Your primary objective is to manage the end-to-end proposal lifecycle, breaking down intricate Request for Proposals (RFPs) and constructing compelling commercial bids that address nuanced client requirements. This position bridges engineering solutions with active business development; you will collaborate with cross-functional software teams to design tailored technical configurations, map cost estimates, and deliver persuasive solution demonstrations. The role demands an articulate communicator with professional French fluency who can comfortably translate complex software parameters into clear commercial advantages for prospective B2B clients.
Scope of Responsibilities
Bid Management & Technical Proposals
- Formulate detailed technical and commercial proposals, price matrices, cost estimates, and comprehensive bid documentation for enterprise prospects.
- Oversee the end-to-end tender lifecycle, driving prompt and accurate responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and expression of interest documents.
- Dissect complex public and private tender specifications, structuring systematic compliance matrices against specific functional requirements.
- Guarantee that all written content, localized translations, and final proposal packages meet premium editorial, corporate, and design standards.
Client Solutions & Technical Consultation
- Collaborate with internal development architects and project leads to engineer tailored software configurations that solve customer operational pain points.
- Build and deliver immersive product simulations, custom sandbox demonstrations, and high-level technical presentations to client procurement circles.
- Maintain an up-to-date central repository of technical product documentation, feature releases, pricing sheets, and reusable proposal collateral.
- Provide quick, data-backed clarifications to client technical teams regarding software integrations, security frameworks, and performance benchmarks.
Lead Qualification & Strategic Sales Support
- Partner directly with Sales and Business Development managers to qualify incoming corporate leads and determine overall project viability.
- Research evolving technology trends, regional market developments, and competing vendor portfolios to position company solutions effectively.
- Cultivate and insulate reliable technical relationships with key decision-makers, system integrators, and strategic client stakeholders.
- Supply accurate pre-sales metrics, pipeline summaries, and tender conversion insights to executive leadership for commercial planning.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum Entry Criteria
- Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related commercial track.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressive success operating in a pre-sales, sales engineering, technical writing, or bid management position within the software or technology sector.
- Linguistic Mastery: Complete professional working proficiency in written and spoken French is mandatory, alongside absolute fluency in English.
- Tender Literacy: Practical understanding of public/private procurement rules, RFP evaluation metrics, and complex commercial costing frameworks.
