A well-established construction company in the UAE is looking to hire a qualified Planning Engineer (Civil) to support ongoing civil construction projects. This role is ideal for professionals with strong planning expertise and proven experience working with main contractors in the UAE.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and managing project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring that construction activities are completed within the planned timelines. You will work closely with project teams to identify risks, manage delays, and maintain efficient workflow throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools
• Monitor project performance and prepare regular progress and status reports
• Coordinate with site and project teams to ensure timely execution of project activities
• Identify potential delays and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Prepare project baselines, updates, and conduct delay analysis when required
• Ensure all planning activities align with project objectives and deadlines

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within the UAE construction sector
• Mandatory experience working with a main contractor
• Strong background in civil construction projects
• Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project
• Ability to prepare schedules, baselines, progress reports, and delay analysis
