Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and compound chemotherapy medications using aseptic techniques.
  • Accurately dispense oncology and supportive medications in line with treatment regimens.
  • Maintain accurate dispensing, compounding and billing records for audit purposes.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage of oncology medications.
  • Handle cytotoxic drugs in compliance with established safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with pharmacists, oncologists, and nursing staff to support patient care.
  • Adhere to regulatory, safety, and infection control standards at all times

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
  • Registration with Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
  • 1-3 Years experience in an oncology pharmacy setting.
  • Proficiency in sterile compounding and aseptic techniques.
  • Knowledge of chemotherapy handling and hazardous drug safety.
  • Experience in medication dispensing and pharmacy operations.
  • Competence in billing systems and documentation processes.
  • Basic understanding of oncology treatments and chemotherapy cycles.
