Job Title: Finance Officer - Microfinance Institution
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join a busy microfinance institution. The role involves financial analysis, reporting, and ensuring strict adherence to deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a proven track record in a similar environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of client portfolios and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Monitor loan performance, assess risk, and support portfolio management.
- Prepare accurate periodic financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure timely data entry, reconciliation, and strict compliance with operational deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and systems.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma Certificate in any Business field from a recognized university.
- At least 2 years of practical working experience in a busy Microfinance Institution (MFI) or financial institution.
Knowledge and Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent report writing skills and strong financial analysis abilities.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work strictly with deadlines.
- Working knowledge of IT skills, including MS Office applications (Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint).
