Role Overview
This position holds end-to-end accountability for a portfolio that combines home health delivery with digital health services, covering everything from daily operations and patient access to referral growth and commercial performance. The core purpose of the role is to move digital and technology ambitions out of the planning stage and into services that genuinely run — guiding them through pilot, implementation, adoption and scale-up, then managing them as steady-state operations. The work matters because it determines whether patients can reach care easily, whether clinicians and external partners will actually use new models of care, and whether the service grows on a footing that can be sustained financially.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day service operations: run home health and digital health services so that patient access, scheduling, care coordination, service delivery and follow-up all function smoothly, and design operating models that hold up as activity grows.
- Drive growth strategy: build and execute plans that raise patient volumes, referrals, utilization and revenue, including identifying new markets, patient segments, channels and sources of income for expanding the service.
- Develop strategic partnerships: cultivate and manage relationships with physicians, corporate and employer clients, insurers and payers, institutions and technology providers in order to open new referral pathways, service collaborations and commercial opportunities.
- Operationalize technology: coordinate pilots, implementation, adoption and scale-up of new technologies and technology-enabled care models, and make sure each solution is integrated into routine clinical and operational workflows rather than sitting outside them.
- Build new services: identify unmet patient and market needs, then lead the full sequence — needs assessment, business-case evaluation, piloting, launch and scaling — for new home-based and digital healthcare offerings.
- Own quality, safety and risk: establish and maintain robust controls that satisfy organizational standards and regulatory requirements, including the obligations that apply to digital health, privacy and information security.
- Manage financial and operational performance: set and oversee budgets, volume and revenue targets, pricing and commercial models, monitor costs, productivity, contribution and return on investment, and maintain dashboards and KPIs spanning growth, revenue, utilization, digital adoption, productivity, patient experience, quality, safety and financial results — using what they reveal to close operational gaps.
- Lead people and cross-functional collaboration: recruit, develop and retain high-performing teams, and work closely with clinical, operational, commercial, digital, IT, quality, risk, finance and marketing colleagues to keep the portfolio moving in one direction.
- Improve the patient experience: design and continuously refine seamless, accessible, patient-centered journeys across home, digital and adjacent services, treating patient feedback, complaints and service data as the primary inputs for improvement.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, health sciences, nursing, pharmacy, engineering, operations, technology management or a related discipline.
- A postgraduate qualification such as an MBA, MHA, MPH or equivalent is an advantage.
- 7–10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably gained within healthcare.
- At least 3–5 years spent in a managerial, service-line, operations, business development, digital health or transformation role.
- Demonstrated experience in business development, service growth, partnership development or commercial management.
- A proven track record of developing business cases and launching, implementing or scaling new services or technologies.
