Role Overview
Maua Methodist Hospital is looking for healthcare professionals who are ready to bring both skill and compassion into a busy, mission-driven hospital setting. In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering patient care across clinical, nursing, or support departments, depending on your speciality and experience. Key Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately, responding promptly to changes in status.
- Implement and follow individualized care plans in line with established medical protocols and hospital policies.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely, maintaining strict adherence to hygiene and infection prevention standards.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, fellow nurses, and allied health staff to coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, health conditions, follow-up care, and preventive practices.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment as required, ensuring all tools are properly cleaned, calibrated, and stored.
- Participate in emergency response and resuscitation efforts, contributing to rapid, organized action during critical incidents.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting all care provided and supporting audit and quality improvement processes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Relevant academic certificates and professional qualifications in nursing, medicine, clinical medicine, pharmacy, or a related healthcare field.
- Valid registration or licensure with the appropriate professional and regulatory body in your field.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in a hospital or clinical environment, with a strong understanding of patient care standards and safety protocols.
- Current certifications in basic and advanced life support where applicable to your role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Genuine commitment to teamwork, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
- Adaptability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
