Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately, responding promptly to changes in status.
• Implement and follow individualized care plans in line with established medical protocols and hospital policies.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures safely, maintaining strict adherence to hygiene and infection prevention standards.
• Work collaboratively with doctors, fellow nurses, and allied health staff to coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, health conditions, follow-up care, and preventive practices.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment as required, ensuring all tools are properly cleaned, calibrated, and stored.
• Participate in emergency response and resuscitation efforts, contributing to rapid, organized action during critical incidents.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting all care provided and supporting audit and quality improvement processes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Relevant academic certificates and professional qualifications in nursing, medicine, clinical medicine, pharmacy, or a related healthcare field.
• Valid registration or licensure with the appropriate professional and regulatory body in your field.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in a hospital or clinical environment, with a strong understanding of patient care standards and safety protocols.
• Current certifications in basic and advanced life support where applicable to your role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Genuine commitment to teamwork, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
• Adaptability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, within a fast-paced healthcare environment.
