Material Engineer – Fit-Out

In Craft Decoration Works L.L.C. is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Material Engineer – Fit-Out to join its team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in UAE interior fit-out and contracting projects, particularly in managing material approvals, specifications, and coordination activities.

The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all project materials meet client, consultant, and project requirements. The position requires strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills to support successful project execution from material selection through approval and implementation stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage material submittals, samples, and technical documentation

• Coordinate material approvals with consultants and clients

• Review material specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements

• Liaise with suppliers, procurement teams, and project stakeholders

• Monitor material approval processes and follow up on pending submissions

• Support project teams with material selection and technical information

• Maintain accurate records of approvals, submittals, and related documentation

Requirements:

• Experience in fit-out or interior contracting projects within the UAE

• Strong knowledge of material submittals, approvals, samples, and specifications

• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, suppliers, procurement teams, and project staff

• Experience with interior finishing materials and fit-out products

• Strong documentation, reporting, and follow-up skills

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Immediate joiners are preferred
