Marketing Manager – Agent Network & Affiliate Operations

Role Overview

You will take ownership of the company’s agent and affiliate acquisition engine across Kenya, turning third-party promoters, community leaders, and sub-agents into a reliable growth channel for player acquisition and deposits. Day to day, this means scouting and onboarding new agents, building referral structures, activating local communities via WhatsApp and offline events, and constantly reading performance data to tweak commissions and campaigns. Your work matters because the agent network is a primary driver of sustainable user growth and revenue for the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, vet, and onboard high-potential agents, sub-agents, and community promoters across both urban and rural markets in Kenya.
• Design and scale a hybrid offline-online referral architecture, using digital tools to support and track grassroots promoters.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with top-performing agents and regional influencers, providing them with the support and resources needed to grow active player communities.
• Build and manage performance-linked incentive schemes that align agent behaviour with company acquisition and deposit targets.
• Monitor agent productivity, analyse conversion and retention metrics, and adjust commission models to maximise return on investment.
• Identify and activate seed users, influencers, and social connectors who can create and sustain local player groups on WhatsApp, Telegram, and in-person meetups.
• Run targeted acquisition campaigns through the agent channel, coordinating with digital marketing, retention, and customer support teams to ensure consistent messaging and follow-through.
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports, tracking acquisition volume, deposit conversion, retention contribution, and revenue impact, and recommend data-driven improvements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the betting, gaming, or casino industry in Kenya, ideally with an established platform operating in the region.
• Proven track record of managing or operating agent-based acquisition or affiliate referral structures, including recruiting and coaching sub-agents and community promoters.
• Access to an existing network of agents, betting influencers, or gaming community connectors is a significant advantage.
• Strong understanding of Kenyan online gaming and betting customer behaviour, acquisition channels, and market trends.
• Hands-on familiarity with WhatsApp-based agent promotion ecosystems and community management.
• Experience working with both online and offline acquisition methods, and with commission-driven growth models.
• Solid analytical skills to evaluate acquisition performance, spot optimisation opportunities, and improve agent productivity.
• Exceptional relationship-building and communication abilities, with the capacity to motivate decentralised teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments such as Retention and Customer Service.
• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
