Role Overview
As Marketing Lead at Keep It Cool, you will own the full marketing mix for a fast-growing cold chain and fresh food distribution company, bridging B2B and consumer audiences. Your day-to-day work connects brand building with direct revenue: planning campaigns, coordinating trade events, and generating qualified leads that the commercial teams can convert. You will also be the guardian of the Markiti digital platform, ensuring every channel — from roadshows to SMS — works toward stronger market presence and measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Set the annual marketing roadmap for Keep It Cool and Markiti, aligning each campaign with commercial targets and new hub expansion plans.
- Build and manage demand generation funnels targeting restaurants, hotels, retailers, institutions, SMEs, and households, delivering a steady flow of qualified leads to sales.
- Own the company website and Markiti digital properties, running paid and organic campaigns across search, social, email, and SMS to grow traffic and conversion rates.
- Plan and execute trade marketing activities — roadshows, exhibitions, product sampling, and in-market activations — that support hub launches and repeat purchases.
- Create compelling collateral, including brochures, sales decks, newsletters, case studies, and video content, and manage media relations and storytelling to strengthen brand reputation.
- Conduct market research and competitor tracking to spot trends, refine positioning, and feed actionable insights back into product and commercial strategy.
- Monitor marketing performance through analytics dashboards, investigating what drives customer acquisition cost and return on investment, and report monthly with optimisation recommendations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
- At least two years of hands-on marketing experience, with a track record of running multi-channel campaigns end to end.
- Demonstrated ability in digital marketing, including social advertising, Google Ads, email, and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience within FMCG, food distribution, retail, agribusiness, logistics, or technology is a strong advantage.
- Solid grasp of brand development and maintaining consistency across offline and online touchpoints.
- Practical experience with CRM systems and analytics tools to segment audiences, track leads, and measure performance.
- Excellent project management and communication skills to coordinate with sales, customer success, and external vendors.
