Role Overview
This role sits at the operational heart of the marketing team, turning campaign plans into real-world activity. Day to day, you will manage the practical details that make promotions, product launches, and brand activations run smoothly — from arranging ambassadors and materials to tracking budgets, stock, and market intelligence. Your behind-the-scenes coordination ensures that every brand touchpoint is consistent, measurable, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee the schedules of brand ambassadors and field promoters, ensuring the right people are in the right locations with the right materials for each activation.
- Manage event logistics from start to finish: sourcing and preparing sampling kits, POSM, and display collateral, setting up on-site, and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the event.
- Compile clear post-event summaries that capture attendance, engagement, stock usage, and promoter feedback, then share actionable insights with the wider marketing team.
- Support product launch timelines by coordinating the distribution of trial samples, monitoring retailer promotional displays, and responding to ad hoc marketing support requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for POSM, merchandise, and uniforms, including periodic stock counts, storage organization, and timely replenishment to avoid shortages.
- Collect and organise competitive data on pricing, promotions, and emerging market trends, and assist in running consumer surveys and focus group sessions to feed into campaign decisions.
- Keep the team's planning tools up to date — marketing calendars, activity trackers, and expense logs — and process purchase requisitions, supplier documentation, and departmental records through the required approval workflows.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 1–2 years of practical experience in a marketing, administrative, or customer-facing capacity, with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office — particularly Excel for tracking and reporting, PowerPoint for presentations, and Word for documentation.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic digital marketing tools is an advantage, as you may help collate content or support online campaign coordination.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail when handling inventory, budgets, and event logistics.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, staying flexible in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
