We are seeking a highly capable Maintenance Supervisor to manage the physical infrastructure and operational assets of our premier hospitality facility along the Mara River. Your objective is to ensure uninterrupted guest comfort and operational continuity by executing rigorous preventive and corrective maintenance programs. You will take ownership of the facility’s lifecycle management—overseeing heavy utilities (generators, water treatment, HVAC) and structural upkeep while leading an on-site team of technicians and external contractors. This role demands a proactive technical leader who thrives in a remote resort setting where rapid troubleshooting and resourcefulness are critical.
Key Workstreams
Infrastructure Oversight & Preventative Scheduling

Design, schedule, and execute comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance programs across the property.

Perform structural inspections of buildings, electrical grids, plumbing systems, and commercial kitchen installations to preempt operational faults.

Minimize downtime by diagnosing and resolving technical malfunctions swiftly and efficiently.

Formulate contingency plans and manage rapid response logistics for emergency repair scenarios.
Asset Upkeep & Utility Management

Monitor the performance and efficiency of critical infrastructure, including generators, water purification systems, and HVAC units.

Maintain structural maintenance logs, equipment histories, and compliance records with absolute transparency.

Track inventory levels for spare parts, technical tools, and maintenance consumables to prevent procurement delays.

Assess equipment degradation and recommend timely upgrades or energy-efficient replacements to management.
Team Leadership & Safety Compliance

Delegate daily work orders to maintenance technicians, ensuring optimal labor distribution and task execution.

The Essentials

Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory maintenance role, ideally within a lodge, resort, or luxury hospitality facility.
