Job Description
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Officer to support our logistics and operations functions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operations and logistics, strong vendor management skills, and a solid understanding of supply chain processes.
Job Description
- Coordinate daily logistics operations.
- Maintain accurate logistics documentation (delivery notes, dispatch records, etc.).
- Manage relationships with suppliers, transporters, and service providers.
- Negotiate with vendors and ensure adherence to agreed service levels.
- Support operational workflows to ensure smooth process flow.
- Assist in monitoring stock levels, deliveries, and inventory movement.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of materials in line with food industry standards.
- Prepare daily and weekly logistics reports.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in logistics or operations, preferably within a food industry setup.
- Strong vendor and supplier management experience.
- Good understanding of logistics workflows and inventory processes.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with ERP/logistics systems is an added advantage.
