Teach undergraduate and/or diploma courses in Print Media, Journalism, and Mass Communication
Train students in news writing, feature writing, editing, layout and design, magazine production, and newspaper publishing
Supervise student projects, attachments, and research work
Participate in curriculum review and development to align with industry trends
Establish linkages with media organizations for industrial attachment and collaboration opportunities
Conduct research, publish scholarly work, and participate in academic conferences and seminars
Qualifications and skills
Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field from a recognized institution
Specialization or experience in Print Media/Journalism.
Three(3) Years Teaching experience at the tertiary or university level will be an added advantage
Must be registered with a relevant professional body in Kenya and possess a valid practicing license where applicable
Proficiency in relevant media production and publishing tools is desirable.
