Job Summary:
- The IT Personnel is responsible for maintaining the organization’s computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, provides technical support to staff, and safeguards data and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and networks
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot system and network issues
- Monitor system performance and ensure security and efficiency
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems
- Maintain IT documentation, including system configurations and procedures
- Support cybersecurity measures and ensure data protection
- Assist in procurement and setup of IT equipment
- Train staff on basic IT systems and best practices
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified
- Experience with cloud services and virtualization
- Knowledge of database management and system administration
Working Conditions:
- Office-based with occasional off-site support
- May require after-hours support for system maintenance or emergencies
