Applicants should:
Hold relevant academic qualifications (Master’s or PhD for Lecturers; Bachelor’s or Diploma for Tutorial Fellows and administrative roles).
Possess valid professional registration with relevant Kenyan regulatory bodies (e.g., Commission for University Education, HRM Board, ICPAK).
Have prior experience in university teaching, research, administration, finance, or HR management depending on the role.
Demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Be familiar with curriculum development, pedagogy, and higher education governance frameworks.
Show professionalism, integrity, and alignment with MUCO’s mission of providing accessible, equitable, and quality university education through teaching, research, innovation, and service.
Role‑specific expectations:
Registrar & Assistant Registrar: Oversee academic programs, student affairs, and institutional compliance.
Lecturers & Tutorial Fellows: Deliver instruction, mentor students, and contribute to research.
HR, Accounts, and Audit Officers: Manage human capital, financial operations, and institutional accountability.
Office Administrator: Provide administrative support and ensure smooth office operations.
