We are seeking a versatile IT Support Specialist to manage our day-to-day technical operations. You will be responsible for maintaining our local infrastructure, assisting staff with technical hurdles, and ensuring our time-attendance and communication systems run without a hitch. Core Responsibilities
- Daily Technical Support: Provide timely "Tier 1 and Tier 2" support for hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime for staff.
- Mail & Communication Systems: Administer Microsoft Outlook and Office 365 suites. This includes managing user licenses, troubleshooting mail delivery, and setting up secure email protocols.
- Attendance System Management: Take ownership of the ZKTeco BioTime ecosystem. You will be responsible for device installation, user fingerprint/facial registration, and ensuring data flows correctly to the management reports.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Monitor local area networks (LAN), Wi-Fi stability, and peripheral devices like printers and scanners.
- Asset Management: Maintain an organized inventory of company hardware and software licenses.
Technical Requirements
- Software: Strong command of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 (specifically Outlook), and remote desktop tools.
- Specialized Systems: Direct experience or a strong willingness to learn ZKTeco BioTime and biometric hardware integration.
- Hardware: Comfort opening up a PC for basic repairs (RAM upgrades, SSD swaps) and setting up workstations from scratch.
- Networking: Basic understanding of IP addressing, DNS, and DHCP.
Soft Skills
- Patience & Empathy: The ability to help frustrated users feel supported and heard.
- Adaptability: Ready to jump from a simple password reset to a complex server issue at a moment's notice.
- Clear Documentation: Ability to write simple "how-to" guides for staff to reduce recurring support tickets.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a general IT Support or Helpdesk role.
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals).
