Job Description

Job Title: Sales Associate – Jewellery Store

We are looking for a dedicated Sales Associate to engage with customers, drive sales, and maintain inventory accuracy in our jewellery store. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer needs, showcasing our product range, and ensuring seamless transactions while upholding hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and engage with customers to understand their requirements.
  • Introduce various product offerings and facilitate the customer’s buying decision.
  • Prepare estimates for selected products and complete the sales transaction.
  • Achieve category-wise sales targets for the allocated section.
  • Count and maintain daily stock records, managing opening and closing stock for the section.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate inventory for sales.
  • Report sold stock to the Sales Manager for timely replenishment.
  • Monitor dead stock and liaise with the Store Manager to minimize it.
  • Ensure proper and attractive product display at the appropriate counter, following hygienic standards.
  • Transfer stock to the locker at the close of the day; maintain jewellery safety and promptly report any potential theft.
  • Understand and address customer queries and complaints with appropriate solutions.
  • Support the marketing team during potential customer visits and exhibitions.
  • Identify potential customers and refer them to the store.
  • Adhere to cost-saving practices in the store.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with competitors to leverage leading practices and improve store processes.
