We are seeking an ICT Manager to lead the organization’s IT strategy, digital transformation, and infrastructure operations in Nairobi. You will align technology with business goals, modernize systems, and ensure secure, scalable, and high‑performing IT services across the enterprise.

Your Main Duties

Strategic IT Leadership

  • Define and drive the enterprise IT strategy aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives (ERP, CRM, MES, eCommerce, fleet management).

  • Identify opportunities for AI/ML and emerging technologies to create business value.

  • Champion IT governance, standards, and best practices.

IT & Operations Oversight

  • Design and maintain a scalable, secure enterprise architecture.

  • Oversee implementation and integration of ERP, CRM, MES, eCommerce, and fleet management systems.

  • Ensure smooth IT/OT convergence for operational efficiency.

Cybersecurity & Risk Management

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy.

  • Oversee risk assessments, incident response, and compliance (ISO, GDPR‑like standards).

  • Monitor, detect, and mitigate threats to protect data and business continuity.

Financial & Value Management

  • Manage IT budgets and optimize costs and resource allocation.

  • Calculate TCO and ROI for IT investments.

  • Measure and report on business value and performance of technology projects.

Project & Change Management

  • Lead complex IT and digital projects from concept to implementation.

  • Define timelines, governance, and success metrics.

  • Drive change management to ensure smooth adoption of new systems.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Act as the main IT–business liaison across departments.

  • Build strong relationships with executives and board members.

  • Translate technical plans into clear business‑language updates.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and grow IT teams.

  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Identify skills gaps and implement training and capability programs.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and service providers.

  • Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and pricing for software, hardware, and services.

  • Regularly evaluate vendor performance against business needs.

Your Background

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, IT & Business, or similar.

  • 5+ years in IT/digital leadership with enterprise‑level experience.

  • 5+ years at C‑level or equivalent strategic leadership (IT Director, CIO, Head of ICT).

  • Demonstrated experience in large‑scale transformations on ERP, CRM, MES, eCommerce, and fleet systems.

  • Expertise in enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, AI/ML, and IT/OT convergence.

  • Strong business and financial acumen, with experience managing IT budgets, ROI, and value.

  • Exceptional communication skills, especially with executives and boards.
