Description:
A well-established and rapidly growing Arabic business group with over 45 years of global market presence is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Information Technology to oversee and lead the organization’s complete IT operations across multiple business entities in Dubai.
This senior leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and proven experience in managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure, systems, and teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations, driving digital transformation initiatives, and maintaining high standards of cybersecurity, compliance, and system performance across the organization.
The role demands a professional who can effectively manage multi-entity IT environments, provide technical leadership, and implement scalable technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage overall IT operations across all business entities within the group.
• Ensure smooth functioning of all IT systems, platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
• Oversee ERP systems, company software, servers, networks, and IT infrastructure management.
• Manage IT assets including hardware, software licenses, procurement, and vendor coordination.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshooting support, and strategic problem-solving guidance.
• Ensure cybersecurity protocols, data protection systems, backup solutions, and IT compliance standards are strictly followed.
• Monitor system performance and implement upgrades, enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
• Manage IT team structure, manpower planning, supervision, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate with vendors for AMC contracts, IT services, and technical support agreements.
• Maintain operational efficiency and ensure high-quality IT service delivery across departments.
• Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and long-term technology strategies.
Requirements and Skills:
• Strong experience in IT infrastructure management and enterprise-level systems.
• Proven leadership experience in managing IT teams and multi-entity environments.
• Excellent knowledge of networks, servers, cloud systems, cybersecurity, and software management.
• Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in group companies or large-scale organizations is highly preferred.
• Ability to handle critical IT operations and ensure business continuity.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., networking, cybersecurity, cloud) will be an added advantage.
