Role Overview
This position leads the creative side of our international marketing efforts, turning campaign goals into polished visual assets that resonate with audiences across multiple regions. Day to day, the supervisor balances hands-on design work with team coordination: crafting key visuals, brochures, social media creatives, and product launch materials while also reviewing the output of the in-house design team. The role is central to keeping our global brand presentation consistent, culturally appropriate, and commercially effective in every market we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the creative direction for overseas campaigns: develop original concepts, sketch initial ideas, produce final key visuals, and adapt them into complete asset sets such as social media posts, exhibition panels, video thumbnails, and print-ready flyers.
- Partner with regional market teams to gather product launch requirements and translate them into clear visuals, including product catalogues, launch posters, e-commerce detail pages, and video covers with accurate multilingual content.
- Build and maintain the overseas visual identity system: create and update brand guidelines for colour, typography, layout, and logo usage, and audit region-specific materials to ensure consistent application.
- Manage the daily workflow of the design team: assign tasks based on workload and skill level, set realistic deadlines, monitor progress, review work in progress, and provide hands-on creative or technical guidance when challenges arise.
- Run regular team rituals such as skills workshops, case reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions to raise the overall quality of design output and keep the team motivated.
- Coordinate closely with marketing, product, and sales stakeholders to understand business objectives, product selling points, and regional preferences, then turn that input into visuals that support conversion and clear communication.
- Track design trends in international markets and the building materials sector, analyse competitor advertising and branding, and gather reference material that feeds into fresh, differentiated creative concepts.
- Serve as the final gatekeeper for all overseas design deliverables: verify product information, multilingual copy, branding elements, and local regulatory or cultural sensitivities before any asset is released.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in graphic design, visual communication, advertising, fine arts, marketing design, or a related discipline.
- At least 3–5 years of hands-on graphic design experience, with 1–2 years spent supervising or coordinating other designers; agency background is strongly preferred.
- Previous work on international campaigns, global brand projects, cross-border e-commerce, or overseas market expansion is a plus, as is experience in the building materials or ceramics industry.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with a strong grasp of layout, typography, colour theory, composition, and concept development.
- Proven ability to create original campaign key visuals from scratch and expand them into a full suite of deliverables across different formats and languages.
- Solid understanding of international visual trends, cultural nuance, and what makes design work in diverse markets; familiarity with local advertising norms and compliance basics is expected.
- Strong communication and coordination skills to manage stakeholders in different time zones, gather feedback, and keep projects moving without friction.
- Excellent attention to detail, a rigorous approach to quality control, and the ability to spot errors in both design and multilingual content before publication.
- Demonstrated leadership ability: task allocation, deadline management, coaching, and fostering a collaborative, positive studio culture.
- Adept at juggling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, working under tight deadlines without sacrificing quality, and taking ownership of outcomes from concept to final file.
