Role Overview
As a UI/UX Designer, you will turn product ideas and client requirements into software experiences that feel straightforward, coherent, and worth returning to. Your day-to-day work will move between user research, interaction design, visual design, and prototyping, with regular reviews alongside product and engineering partners. By making complex tasks easier to complete, you will help increase customer satisfaction, strengthen product adoption, and support the growth of our client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with product managers, engineers, and end users to gather, clarify, and evaluate requirements, then translate them into user flows and design goals.
- Sketch and illustrate early design concepts, exploring multiple directions before refining the most effective solution.
- Design graphical user interface elements and original graphic assets, including controls, forms, menus, panels, icons, and other visual components that fit the product’s style.
- Plan page navigation and search experiences so users can move through the software and locate information quickly and intuitively.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that demonstrate how features will look, feel, and behave.
- Present design drafts to internal teams and stakeholders, explain design decisions, and revise work in response to feedback.
- Audit designs and live experiences to identify UX problems, troubleshoot issues, and adjust layouts based on user feedback and usability findings.
- Follow established style standards and design conventions to keep the product consistent across features and releases.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a comparable product design role.
- A portfolio of design projects that shows your process, wireframes, prototypes, and finished interface work.
- Knowledge of wireframing, prototyping, and current design software, with comfort learning new tools as the design stack evolves.
- Ability to create original graphic designs and polished UI elements with strong visual judgment.
- Experience gathering and evaluating user requirements and turning them into practical flows, layouts, and interactions.
- Understanding of navigation, search, and interaction patterns that make software easy to use.
- Strong communication and team spirit, including the ability to present drafts and rationale to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Good time-management skills and the ability to manage several design tasks and deadlines at once.
- BSc in Design, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
