A leading organization in the Information Technology sector is seeking a FinOps Specialist to support cloud cost optimization, financial analysis, and customer-focused solutions in a fast-growing technology environment. This role is ideal for professionals who combine technical expertise, analytical skills, and a consultative approach to help businesses optimize cloud spending.
The selected candidate will work closely with sales, customer operations, and product teams to develop savings analyses, deliver product demonstrations, support cloud rate strategies, and improve optimization solutions. This position is open to US-based remote candidates only, with no visa sponsorship available.
Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with Account Executives to support product demonstrations and customer engagements.
• Analyze cloud cost optimization opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on cloud savings solutions, including reservations, Azure Spot VMs, and compute savings plans.
• Create and deliver impactful demos during sales discussions.
• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Operations teams on cloud pricing and optimization strategies.
• Work with Product teams to improve optimization services and tools.
• Configure and develop savings analyses based on customer requirements.
• Contribute to feature improvements and enhance cloud savings analysis capabilities.
Requirements:
• 2+ years of experience in FinOps or Engineering with Azure at scale.
• Previous experience as an Analyst or Presales Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cost Management and billing tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and technical writing skills.
• Ability to make API calls and manipulate data.
• Experience with Power BI and Azure Synapse is an advantage.
• Startup mindset with the ability to solve problems and create processes.
• High integrity, curiosity, and a positive attitude.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.
• Microsoft Azure services and billing management.
• Data analysis and reporting tools.
• Customer-facing technical solution development.
