Role Overview
This full-time, on-site role places the advisor at the heart of client relationships in Machakos, helping individuals and families turn their financial ambitions into realistic plans. Day-to-day work involves fact-finding conversations, financial health assessments, and the creation of tailored strategies covering savings, investments, insurance, and retirement. By translating complex products into clear, actionable advice, the advisor supports both client success and the sustained growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured financial needs analyses to understand each client’s income, expenses, risk tolerance, and long-term objectives.
- Develop and present customized financial plans that address savings, investment growth, insurance protection, and retirement income needs.
- Monitor client portfolios and account performance, recommending adjustments when life circumstances or market conditions shift.
- Schedule and lead regular review meetings to track progress toward goals and refine strategies as necessary.
- Educate clients on the company’s range of financial products and services, highlighting how each can solve specific needs.
- Ensure every recommendation aligns with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of client interactions, plans, and decisions for compliance and continuity purposes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver complete financial solutions and actively support client retention and acquisition efforts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning and retirement planning, with the ability to design strategies that perform well over the long term.
- Solid knowledge of finance and investment principles, including portfolio analysis, risk assessment, and product selection.
- Proven advisory skills that build trust, communicate recommendations clearly, and guide clients through complex decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, making technical financial concepts understandable to clients from varied backgrounds.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, coupled with careful attention to detail and sound ethical judgment.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; certifications in financial planning or advisory services are an advantage.
- Ability to engage effectively with a diverse client base, organize workload independently, and meet performance targets in a Machakos-based, on-site environment.
