Description:
Autolink Contracting is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Estimator to join its team in the UAE. This role is focused on delivering accurate cost estimations and competitive tender submissions for high-rise building projects, ensuring strong financial planning and successful project execution.
The selected candidate will play a key role in preparing bids, analyzing project requirements, and supporting the commercial team in developing accurate pricing strategies for construction projects.
This position is ideal for professionals with strong technical knowledge in estimation, quantity surveying, and tendering processes within main contracting environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for civil construction projects.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for high-rise building projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project requirements.
• Prepare competitive bids and pricing for BOQ items.
• Coordinate with technical, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure accurate cost inputs.
• Support tender submission processes and ensure timely delivery of estimates.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations for cost accuracy.
• Assist in developing cost-effective construction solutions.
• Maintain updated cost databases and estimation records.
• Ensure compliance with tender requirements and project specifications.
• Provide input for value engineering and cost optimization strategies.
• Support management in decision-making through accurate financial analysis.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience as a Civil Estimator in high-rise building projects.
• Experience with main contracting companies is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of BOQ pricing, quantity take-offs, and tendering processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software/tools.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
