Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary leader to direct the academic, administrative, and strategic operations of the School. The role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance, fostering staff excellence, driving research and innovation, and overseeing all aspects of student lifecycle management. The successful candidate will also be responsible for financial stewardship and representing the School internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with professional bodies and regulatory agencies
  • Manage academic staff workload, performance appraisal, and staff development
  • Mobilize research funding, partnerships, and industry collaborations
  • Oversee student admission, progression, assessment, and graduation processes
  • Prepare and manage the School’s budget and resources
  • Promote high-quality teaching, research, innovation, and technology transfer
  • Provide leadership in curriculum development, delivery, review, and accreditation of engineering programs
  • Represent the School in University committees and external forums
