Description:
We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our client’s onsite team in Dubai. The role involves working closely with business and technical stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable, and high-performance database systems. This is an excellent opportunity for database professionals who enjoy building impactful, data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, procedures, and database objects
• Support ETL processes for reporting and analytics
• Build and enhance BI reports using tools such as Crystal Reports and MicroStrategy
• Work with data warehouse models, including star schema and dimensional modeling
• Improve database performance, scalability, and data accuracy
• Collaborate with onsite teams to translate business requirements into robust database solutions
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Database Developer or Software Engineer with a database focus
• Strong expertise in Oracle databases; exposure to Amazon Redshift is a plus
• Advanced SQL/PLSQL skills including performance tuning experience
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and BI concepts
• Comfortable working in a client-facing, onsite environment
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
