Reporting to the Cluster Hotel Manager, the Cluster IT Manager is responsible for the operational IT management of the hotels. This includes building strong relationships with Hotel General Managers, Executive Committees, Heads of Departments, and other business‑critical users. The role oversees business planning and budgeting of IT expenditures, ensures compliance with Accor IT policies and guidelines, and drives strategic IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day IT operations, acting as the primary IT contact for hotel leadership and users.
- Develop and manage the IT budget, including creating business cases to justify investments and expenditures.
- Prepare and deliver regular status reports on the hotel’s IT situation to the Cluster GM and VP IT / Cluster Hotel Manager.
- Initiate and lead IT projects; advise the Cluster GM on strategic IT matters.
- Maintain strong relationships with Accor hardware partners; escalate and resolve hardware issues (computers, servers, routers, switches, cables, PABX, monitors, screens, POS devices, interfaces, UPS, and related components).
- Ensure all Accor IT Policies and Guidelines are applied in the hotel.
- Verify that only original, properly licensed applications are used on hotel systems, and restrict user access to only job‑necessary programs.
- Work closely with software providers; escalate and resolve software issues as needed.
- Develop and deliver IT training programs in coordination with the Learning & Development department to maximize system proficiency across the hotel.
- Ensure compliance with Accor IT Security Policy and General Data Protection requirements.
- Oversee backup of all relevant user‑generated data, maintaining robust backup policies and the highest level of system security.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably in a five‑star hotel environment.
- Mindset: Strategic thinker, results‑driven, process‑oriented, and attentive to detail.
- Leadership: Inspires and motivates teams, providing clear direction, development, and guidance to achieve revenue goals.
- Interpersonal: Positive influencer, strong communicator, team collaborator, with excellent listening skills and the ability to anticipate business needs.
- Relationship Building: Develops strong partnerships with business partners, intermediaries, and key stakeholders to align strategic direction.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Decision‑Making: Strong decision‑making skills, remains calm under pressure, and effectively prioritizes workflows.
Additional Information
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to:
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting
