Role Overview
As Marketing Lead at Sarakasi Trust, you will own the commercial and promotional strategy behind our performing arts programmes, artiste management work, and audience development. Your daily focus will be on converting creative projects into sustainable revenue, building lasting client relationships, and ensuring our brand connects with both local communities and institutional partners. By aligning marketing tactics with the organisation’s social mission, you will help empower artists while expanding the financial base that keeps our programmes alive.

- Create and execute both long-term strategic and short-term tactical marketing and sales plans that support the organisation’s business and visibility targets.
- Identify new revenue streams by analysing sales forecasts, market trends, and programme profitability, then adjust approaches to maximise income from cultural events and artiste representation.
- Proactively source, pitch to, and secure new clients, then nurture those relationships into repeat partnerships that deliver lasting value.
- Plan brand-building campaigns and audience engagement initiatives that expand our reach across different segments, from corporate sponsors to arts lovers.
- Coordinate closely with the PR and Social Media Officer to align press releases, public appearances, publications, and promotional events with the overall marketing calendar.
- Lead business development efforts for artiste contracts and partnerships, ensuring agreements are commercially sound and professionally managed.
- Set a high standard for client service, making every interaction with partners, sponsors, and artists reflect the Trust’s reputation and values.
Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 3–5 years in marketing, business development, or sales, ideally within the creative, events, entertainment, or performing arts sectors.
- Campaign track record: Proven ability to design and deliver marketing campaigns that achieve measurable results in brand awareness and audience growth.
- Commercial skills: Strong business development, lead generation, sales closing, and client retention capabilities.
- Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication, networking, presentation, and negotiation abilities, comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders.
