Systems Architect I

Businessolver is seeking a skilled Systems Architect I to support client implementations and deliver effective technology solutions through its proprietary Benefitsolver platform. This remote role focuses on understanding client business needs, translating requirements into system configurations, and ensuring successful implementation outcomes.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, onboarding teams, architects, configuration specialists, and system design analysts to create efficient solutions. This position requires strong analytical abilities, technical understanding, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining excellent client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with customers and translate business needs into platform requirements.

• Analyze and understand system requirements for ongoing projects and annual enrollment activities.

• Work directly with clients to troubleshoot, research, and resolve platform-related questions and issues.

• Collaborate with Architect II resources to design effective solutions and identify downstream impacts.

• Prepare decision support documents, work orders, and configuration requests.

• Partner with Configuration Specialists and System Design Analysts to support platform configuration.

• Manage project timelines and service level expectations to achieve business objectives.

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients.

• Support system and user acceptance testing activities.

• Maintain accurate system documentation for internal and external use.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of implementation and/or project management experience.

• 3–6 years of experience gathering and analyzing data, writing system requirements, performing system configuration, and creating ETL processes.

• 1–3 years of experience creating test plans and test cases.

• Experience with requirements gathering, functional analysis, data analysis, system design, and configuration.

• Ability to identify and document data types, business rules, mapping, and conversion requirements.

• Experience with scripting and/or client-side programming languages.

• Ability to coordinate and conduct system testing and user acceptance testing.

• Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with diverse teams.

• Ability to identify and escalate technical issues and implementation challenges.

• Strong listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional client relationship and consulting abilities.

• Self-directed team player with a collaborative and professional approach.

• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong knowledge of:

    • System architecture, configuration, and implementation processes

    • Data analysis, ETL processes, and requirements documentation

    • Testing methodologies, client solutions, and SaaS platforms
