Job Description

Position: Brand Strategist & PR Lead

Employment Nature: Full-time

Remuneration: Kshs. 100,000 (Net)

Location: Westlands, Nairobi

Role Purpose

We are seeking a sophisticated and high-impact Brand Strategist & PR Lead to define the narrative and protect the reputation of our real estate portfolio. This is a dual-focus leadership role that requires the analytical depth to craft brand positioning and the tactical agility to manage public relations in a fast-paced market. You will be the architect of our brand equity, ensuring that every touchpoint—from media statements to digital campaigns—reflects a consistent and compelling voice. We need a storyteller who can navigate complex stakeholder landscapes while proactively managing brand sentiment and market relevance.

Core Responsibilities

Strategic Brand Development

  • Refine the company’s brand positioning, value propositions, and overarching messaging frameworks to drive market growth.

  • Conduct rigorous brand audits and SWOT analyses to ensure all communications remain consistent and competitive.

  • Translate consumer insights and competitor benchmarking into actionable strategies that enhance brand visibility.

  • Enforce global brand guidelines across all digital, print, and advertising channels to maintain visual and tonal identity.

Public Relations & Media Governance

  • Design and execute integrated PR strategies that align with broader business objectives and corporate milestones.

  • Draft high-stakes press releases, media statements, and internal communications that reinforce the company’s mission.

  • Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with key journalists, media houses, and industry influencers.

  • Serve as the official liaison for all press engagements and external stakeholder communications.

Reputation & Crisis Management

  • Monitor brand sentiment across all platforms and proactively address potential communication risks.

  • Develop and lead crisis communication frameworks to mitigate negative publicity and safeguard corporate integrity.

  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce storytelling content and experiential brand activations that foster trust.

  • Analyze market trends and audience behavior to continuously pivot messaging for maximum impact.

Professional Requirements

Academic & Technical Background

  • Education: Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related Business field.

  • Experience: Significant proven experience in branding, corporate communications, or PR, ideally with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.

  • Digital Literacy: Competence in using social media analytics, CMS platforms, and modern communication tools.

  • Strategic Articulation: Exceptional storytelling, editing, and verbal communication skills.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage diverse creative teams.
