Key Responsibilities
Drive Insurance Sales;
- Promote and sell bancassurance products, including life, general, medical, and asset insurance.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Identify customers' insurance needs and recommend suitable products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales and policy lifecycle.
Business Development
- Generate new business opportunities from the bank's customer base.
- Conduct customer visits and follow up on sales leads.
- Organize customer awareness campaigns and insurance product presentations
Cross-Selling
- Collaborate with relationship managers, personal bankers, and branch staff to identify cross-selling opportunities.
- Integrate insurance solutions into customers' broader financial plans.
Branch Support and Training
- Train and coach branch staff on bancassurance products and sales techniques.
- Increase staff awareness to encourage quality referrals.
Sales Pipeline Management
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries.
- Track leads from referral to policy issuance.
Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure all sales comply with regulatory requirements and internal bank policies.
- Complete Know Your Customer (KYC) and other compliance documentation accurately.
- Adhere to ethical selling practices and customer protection guidelines.
Policy Administration
- Assist customers with policy applications and documentation.
- Liaise with insurance partners to facilitate policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, and claims support.
Reporting
- Prepare regular sales and performance reports.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience selling bancassurance or insurance products.
- Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Insurance is mandatory.
- Knowledge of banking legislation, policies, and insurance products.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and Word).
- Excellent presentation, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Good business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
